Join me today for a 20-recipe round-up of some of my favorite chocolate dishes I've made and shared with you over the years! From cakes, to cookies, to muffins, to quick bread - if you're looking for something to satisfy you're sweet tooth, I've got you covered!
Peppermint Hot Chocolate Bundt Cake has a chocolate base which pairs very nicely with the peppermint flavoring, and I love the addition of the peppermint hot chocolate packets. It is very moist and a little crumbly, and the addition of the chocolate chips gives you a little extra texture and rich bites to discover as you enjoy the cake.
Kahlua Chocolate Cake is moist, tender, with a slight crisp to the outside edges and chock full of bites of chocolate chips.
Tunnel of Fudge Bundt Cake is some combination between lava cake, brownie, and good dense chocolate cake. It is so rich, chocolatey, and moist - and needs a BIG scoop of vanilla ice cream or cup of milk to enjoy alongside!
White Chocolate Peppermint Fudge are creamy little bites infused with just a touch of peppermint flavor, rich with white chocolate, and a touch of crunch and milk chocolate flavor in the cookie crust!
Reese's Cheesecake Brownies are SERIOUS chocolate fix deliciousness! The brownie layer is very rich and fudgy, the cream cheese layer is creamy and peanut buttery - and this is an amazing combination of the two flavors and lots of textures that complement each other for an incredible sweet tooth fix.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Bundt Cake is fantastic - peanut butter is probably the strongest flavor, but the chocolate adds lovely color and contrast. It's rich and decadent and a little goes a long way - and that said it did NOT last long in my house at all! Everyone loved this cake, and I will definitely be making it again!
Chocolate and Maraschino Cherry Shortbread Cookies are a tender, flaky, buttery shortbread cookie lightly tinged pink from the maraschino cherry juice, and filled with chewy bites of cherry. They are brushed with warm melted chocolate and then coated with chopped roasted almonds for a cookie as pretty as it is tasty!
Chocolate Espresso Mousse is perfection. So fluffy, melt in your mouth. And the espresso is SO good with this - I kind of think chocolate and espresso were made for each other.
Marshmallow Drenched Rocky Road Bundt Cake are full of delicious add-ins which make this cake so dense, fudgy, moist, and absolutely delicious. The little marshmallows melt into the batter leaving it extra moist and gooey, and the chocolate chips melt in as well, leaving extra tender chocolaty bites when you find one. The nuts add a nice crunch and contrast.
Chocolate Chocolate Chip Banana Bread combines two of my favorite things - banana bread and chocolate! This is a delicious, tender, "plussed-up" version of banana bread you definitely need to try soon!
Chocolate Mocha Muffins are such a lovely muffin recipe! It's a little bit on the cupcake side (I mean it's chock full of chocolate so there's that) - the interior is fluffy and studded with tender bits of chocolate and we all loved them!
S'moreo Caramel Bundt Cake is moist, and packed full of gooey bits of melted marshmallow and mini chocolate chips, and seriously that glaze... mmmm.... it's delicious. It really reminds me of Werther's candies.
Coffee and Chocolate Shortbread Cookies. I am a huge fan of shortbread, and I really loved this simple combination of flavored shortbread with the rich chocolate accent. These cookies were made for a cup of coffee!
Caramel and Chocolate Dipped Pretzel Rods are something my aunt has been making at Christmas time and sending out as part of the annual gifts for about as long as I can remember. They are always MUCH looked forward to, and promptly devoured. The combination of textures and sweet and salty is just perfect, and you can have as much fun as you want with the toppings - or leave them bare!
Reese's Chocolate Peanut Butter Tart is sure to impress and would absolutely be share-worthy at a special occasion. And it is so incredibly rich, that you don't need more than a small sliver per person for a few bites of heaven. Serve this along some good strong coffee and it will be a very happy way to end the day indeed!
Chocolate Chip Toffee Cookie Bars have seriously wonderful flavor and texture - super tender, lovely and crisp around the edges, filled with delicious bites of chocolate and toffee. Perfect to enjoy with a glass of milk, pack in a school lunch, serve as an after school treat, or warm and top with vanilla ice cream. Delicious!
Oreo Chocolate Cake combines an Oreo infused chocolate cake base, with a super delicious Oreo cream cheese filling, and the whole this is smothered in a silky smooth, lusciously rich chocolate frosting! This one is chocolate overload made for a fantastic birthday cake for the Oreo lover in my life!
Spooky Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Spider Cookies have a deliciously tender rich and peanut buttery base, stuffed with a mix of goodies (I used PB chips, milk chocolate chips, and toffee bits) - you can mix and match or stick to just chocolate chips if you prefer! Then you add a couple dark chocolate chips pressed into the fresh baked cookies, add little "legs" with black gel icing and voila! Spooky tasty cookies!
Bakery Style Double Chocolate Muffins have a wonderful texture, with that slightly crisped exterior, and fluffy interior studded with rich chocolate chips. It has a balanced chocolate flavor, enhanced by a touch of instant coffee, and isn't too sweet. My family really enjoyed this one!
Great round-up Rebekah....I think the Angel Face and I are making those cookies next time she visits.
ReplyDeleteShe will have so much fun making the little "legs"! That was definitely Lindsey's favorite part - and squishing chocolate chips into warm gooey cookies. :)
