Sunrise Smoothie
It's been kind of dreary here in Georgia lately - I could really use a little more sunshine. So citrus flavors to the rescue!
Sometimes you just need a little sunshine to start the day! This is a quick, easy recipe with ingredients we often have on hand in the refrigerator. The combination is light and refreshing. It's packed with good stuff from the fiber, vitamins, and minerals in the fresh fruit and the yogurt adds just a touch of creaminess.
This is fairly "thin" in texture, so feel free to decrease the juice, or up the ice if you want a thicker, frostier smoothie to start your day!
I shared this smoothie with both of my kids and the quantity was just right - you can always freeze some of this into popsicles if you have extra!
