Slow Cooker Green Beans, Ham, and Potatoes
Here's another fantastic green bean recipe - two in a week. Definitely a record! I bought nearly 2 lbs and decided to break it into two and try a couple different recipes. We were very happy with both of them. These beans are perfectly flavorful, tender, and I loved the addition of the onion and green beans to make them a complete side dish.
I used a HoneyBaked Ham ham hock that I had leftover from Easter dinner and had stashed in the freezer. It had a lot of great flavor in it, and so I didn't need nearly the amount of seasoning called for in the original recipe - so keep that in mind to start on the low side of the seasoning and adjust to taste as needed. A little bit of garlic powder and garlic salt was all ours needed. This recipe was devoured in no time!
