Baked Salsa Chicken

This is a super quick and absolutely delicious dinner. All three of us, especially myself and my son, really enjoyed this and wished I'd made more so there would be leftovers! Just 4 total ingredients, a couple minutes to throw it together, into the oven and voila - dinner will be on the table in no time! We served this with some Easy Black Beans and Rice which was a great side dish. We will definitely make this again, soon!

Baked Salsa Chicken from Flying on Jess Fuel

3 small/medium boneless skinless chicken breast halves
2 tsp taco seasoning
1/2 cup salsa
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and sprinkle both sides with the taco seasoning.
  3. Distribute the salsa evenly over the tops.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove, add cheese, and return to oven for 5 - 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted.

  1. Yay! Such an easy but delicious meal! Glad you got to try it!
