Candied Garlic Chicken - Freezer Meal
I originally shared this recipe here. This is one we recently created as a freezer meal, then thawed overnight and cooked up. It worked great as a freezer meal! It bakes up beautifully and crispy with great flavor in the meat. I took a leftover chicken breast and shredded the meat the next day and served it up on a salad with oriental dressing. Delicious!

Ingredients
1 cup honey
4 TBS soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 - 1 1/2 lbs chicken thighs or breasts
Directions
- Simmer honey, soy sauce, and garlic cloves together on the stove; once it comes to a boil, pour over chicken in a glass baking dish. Cover with cling-wrap, and refrigerate for at least an hour, overnight if desired.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30-40 minutes or until cooked through (or almost cooked through). Turn heat up to 425, remove foil, and bake another 10-15 minutes or until browned. You can use lo-broil as well, just watch them carefully.
