Bacon Cheeseburger Pasta

Ingredients
3 - 4 slices of bacon, chopped
2 pounds ground beef
2 medium onions, diced small
2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 cup beef broth
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 cups elbow noodles
1 1/2 - 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese

Directions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the noodles to al dente per package directions, about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Meanwhile, in a very large nonstick skillet, cook the bacon to crispy and then remove from pan with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  3. Add the ground beef and diced onion to the skillet and cook in the bacon grease for about 10 - 15 minutes, until beef is cooked through and onions are tender. Season with the salt and pepper while cooking.
  4. Once the onions are tender and beef is browned, add in the beef broth, tomato sauce, onion powder, garlic powder and drained pasta.
  5. Bring dish to a simmer and cook for about 5-10 minutes.
  6. Stir in the cheddar cheese and stir gently until cheese melts into the sauce.
  7. Taste, and adjust seasonings if desired.
  8. Stir in the cooked bacon, or sprinkle over the top before serving.
