Today our #SundayFunday group is hosted by Wendy from A Day In The Life on The Farm who reminded us that "February is National Avocado Month. Share a recipe featuring this nutritious superfood."

This has been on my "to make" list for I don't even know how long! For anyone who likes to find "healthier" versions of things or is just curious what happens when you combine things that maybe don't seem like they go together - this is a perfect recipe.

When it was first blended - me, my sister, and Lindsey all taste tested and you could really taste the avocado still and none of us were blown away. I spooned into three small containers, and refrigerated overnight and tried again the next day and I'm totally sold. The texture is velvety smooth and creamy, and the flavor is truly chocolatey and yes maybe you can taste a bit of the avocado in there, but it's subtle and adds much more to the texture more than anything else. It's rich, and satisfying and the perfect treat!

    4. Chocolate milk, what a great idea! We love chocolate avocado pudding and I haven't made it in a while. It's fantastic with whipped cream folded in to make a mousse as well.
