Johnsonville Italian Sausage Sliders

These deliciously easy sliders have such fantastic flavor thanks to the addition of Johnsonville sausage! This made for a great weekend lunch. I halved the original recipe (used 1 package of mild Johnsonville sausage links, decased, and 1/2 lb of 80/20 ground beef) and this made about 12 sliders for me which worked well for the package of rolls I'd bought to go with this dish. We topped these with traditional hamburger toppings (ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato, etc.), but for the leftover sliders I have I think I will fry up some bacon and top with cheddar cheese as well, and maybe some BBQ sauce. Yumm! So easy to serve up however you prefer your sliders. I really loved the flavor from the sausage blended with the ground beef. These were really tasty and I would definitely use this again, for sliders or regular hamburgers.
